On Love

Search not for the wisdom of love
For love follows no design
In love you may find your reason to be
Yet love knows no reason
There exist no rules by which to pattern love
For love is the rule by which all else exists
Seek not to understand love
For love in itself is understanding
Know only that love is … love
And rejoice if given the chance to hold it
Yet, hold it only in an open heart
Guided by an open mind
And search not for the wisdom of love
For if made to conform … love will surely die
Above all … be not afraid of finding love
Rather should you fear you may not
For few know of the joys true love may give
