What is it about you that’s touched me this way
And has made me feel things I’m not sure how to say
Is there magic about you that no one else knows
For I still see your eyes every time that mine close

And your voice I can hear though the night’s without sound
Your body warms mine even though you’re not here
And your smile, though it’s dark, I can see bright and clear

While I lay here alone and we’re so far apart
I can still somehow feel every beat of your heart
If not magic, I’m sure it does not matter how
Just as long as I’m feeling the way I do now
Because even distance can’t keep us apart
While each night I sleep next to you in my heart
