To Write A Poem

A poem, you say? Where do I start?
To find the words… I’ve searched my heart
And thought of many things to say
But words won’t come the “rhyming” way

Draw a picture… or make a card?
Now THAT is easy but THIS is… hard!
I’ve tried my best but just don’t see
How poems could EVER come from me!

I guess that I won’t get an “A”
I’ve tried and tried… there’s just no way
Should I try more… or maybe hide?
It’s time to play! I’ll go outside !!
